Question Which aftermarket suspension setup are you getting?

I'm thinking about ordering the Mazdaspeed schocks and springs set that lowers ride height by 20mm. What is everyone else getting? I wanted a more aggressive stance but I also wanted to retain pretty much the stock comfort level. Any other suggestions?

The HKS coilovers look really nice, too. Anyone used these in the past? Their exhaust systems have long been a favorite for NA FC's.

Hopefully tein will use better valving. I had the flex with edfc on my wrx, and it was not that great at all. Sure it's gimmicky, but that's about all.

But maybe tein will actually put some fatter valving on the new flex's. EDFC was VERY cool though!

I'd wait for the JIC's at least the FLT2's. Much better quality... just not as easy to adjust the dampning

i'm thinking about eibach springs and maybe dampers, i've never upgraded suspension on a car of mine before (and i still need it to be usable, no more than 1 or 1.5" drop)

tein doesnt re-valve their coilovers to match the conditions of America's roads. In japan their roads are super smooth so they have really STIFF ratings. JIC however does re-valve their coilovers to adjust to USA. Tein is made in China I may add...

I'm going to stick with the stock springs and shocks (they are Tokico's :D ) and just throw on either a mazdaspeed or corksport sway bar set. It should reduce body roll greatly while not lowering the car any (a must for winter) and it should keep a fairly comfortable ride I suspect.

Wrong.

The two tein boxes I have (for flex's, and an EDFC) are both labeled "Made in Japan"

EDIT: This could also mean that just the boxes were made in Japan, heh
