Sweet! my car just got upgraded with heated mirrors:D but does that mean my price just went up? Nope! Still $29,900 USD baby:D and i thought it was already a bargain i almost feel like i'm stealing from them:o almost!

That is the same price that was announced on launch day. My understanding is that the price on the build&order site is that price + the destination charge (that's why it asks for your ZIP code)

bern, one of the members (tpryor) got an email from mazda saying delivery would not be in may but more likely july. do you think you could ask the folks who sent you this info to confirm the job1 date and if late may early june arrival is still true?

This is right off the press release we just posted:

"The 2004 Mazda RX-8 will make its U.S. debut in mid-June at Mazda showrooms nationwide."

So, a late May early June delivery is still possible.

oops sorry bern, i skipped right past that part thinking it was more "blah blah blah" while trying to get to the change in packages. thanks for the update and for keeping us informed

I called my dealer today and he said he has received notification that my RX-8 will be built the first week of April. He's a dealer. Take it for what its worth
