can you be more specific - is it just lacking power - is the motor reving up and you go nowhere ?

Do you have any engine lights? Could you have gotten bad fuel? Have you been playing around under the bonnet, and left a MAF sensor or other connector disconnected? A scan tool such as the one Brettus has in his sig can help diagnose the problem.

Are you running FI or anything non-stock in the engine department? Hard to say from your post.

Cheers,
Hymee.

Did you experience stall during idle and need repeat stepping the accelerate pedal?
If yes, clean the throttle body and the problem go away

no i haven't stalled yet it sounds like it going to but it doesn;t lol.

what i want to know is that why does it make funny noise from the engine after the temp hits 90Celsius(oil temp) that is why i thort it could be the seal or the cat.

i am not to sure i am taking it to a dealer tomorow see what happens and there and i am not to sure about brown motor because it doesn;t do it a t low temp and makes no noise idels fine and engine check light never been on eather.

I have the same issue with my car at times. When stopped it idles fairly rough, and this week it stalled on me. Started the car back up and everything was fine. I notice that it only does it on warmer days (but its not consistent) but it does it once but then everything is fine. Everything is stock. The idle gets pretty rough. Im hoping to get into the dealer this week

Could be your CAT. I had a similar experince where there was just no get up and go. At times I've read and heard it doesnt throw a CEL right away. Mine only threw a CEL once it finaly became clogged up completely.

lol, well, according to your symptoms, it looks like your cat is about to die, in other words, its almost clogged, for some reason the CEL wont show until its really dead

anyhow, you said u hit the throttle like crazy and nothing happens for a while sounds like it, if u do someday hit the throttle and nothing happens at all, then your cat is dead

Well sadly techs are well just that techs. All they do is type up symptoms on a friggin' pc next to a lift and pray that some form of TSB is avilable. They had my car for 3 days before realizing it was my CAT. Mind you I knew right away (after posting on here of course) and told them on the 2nd day but was blown off. As you said you know what your car sounds and acts like, sadly the tech's never take that into consideration especially since its a rotary engine and half the techs never deal with 'em at all.

Usualy a dead CAT results in low milage (8-13mpg avg for me), slow to no responce when gas pedal is pressed down fully, that and your exhaust note will be off by a little bit, best way to describe it is that its off by a frequency hard to describe in words really lol. Recommend they take a look at the CAT stating that several owners have had theirs replaced with similar symptons (some of us on here are on their 3rd CAT I believe if not 4th).
