Slave/Master Cylinder Problem (or Clutch)

First things first, the car has 235000 kms on it. Yes. That many. And for the Americans that's a **** ton of miles too. It's a 2009 GT.

Soooo. Another day another problem. I'll get to them all eventually. I was driving home (3 hour drive) and I stopped to get gas, reversed out and drove a few kms down the rd, stopped at a red light and when I clutched in to shift into first the pedal didn't come back up. I could reach down and lift it up but regardless there was zero clutch engagement in any position.

I was only a few minutes away and after such a long drive I decided to just try to make it home. As such I managed to drive the car home staying mostly in 2nd and force shifting it to 3rd, 4th, 5th. The higher the gear the easier the shift... I know it's horrible but I plan to replace the clutch and transmission shortly anyway and I have no time or money to tow my car. The smell was pretty awful. I get home and under the assumption that the clutch pedal bracket was broken (there was squeaking in previous weeks) I looked up the DIY and stood on my head while I pulled it out. There was some pretty bad cracking and the spring had started to pull out through the metal at the top. Either way I welded the **** out of it and put little washers around the spring connections and it seemed all better. Much firmer to hold and through the whole range of motion no flex in the bracket.

First sign of trouble was when I started to put it back in, I didn't line up the male part that goes into the female cylinder. I didn't notice and started to tighten a couple of the nuts and then realized and tried to just maneuver it in. This failed, so I then undid the nuts and started to pull the bracket and pedal off. I pull and the cylinder comes with it. Not all the way out but at least an inch. And it sorta stops the bracket from moving any further out. I wiggle it go in and out and eventually sorta force it off. I reangle the male biti into the cylinder and tighten it all up, making sure all the plugs are in and that everything looks normal. I lithium grease it up and turn her on. She starts fine the first time but when I clutch in I hear this super loud whine. And the pedal feels funny, firm but odd kinda resisting my foot. I just assume it's the welding and what not. I push in again and the same sound kinda and the pedal sorta sticks a little. and comes back. Finally I push and try to shift into gear, at which point I realize it won't go into gear. Then I realize that whining is something grinding in the clutch and turn the car off get out and inhale the glorious sulpher smell that we all hate so much.

At this point I was pretty dickered cause it was raining and standing on your head in the rain isn't fun. I decided to take a video and some pics and look around the forum. When I went to start the car to take the video I barellllly managed to start it, I probably flooded it too. Anyway you can see in the video when I clutch in it does shift. It's still making that horrible whining noise though and halfway through it changes from a whine to a grind.

So at this point I'm thinking 4 things in order of shitiness.

1. Some sensor or something is stuck and I forgot to do something stupid (yay for an easy fix)
2. Clutch Master/Slave is buggered and/or the transmission fluid/cylinder fluid is no good.
3. The clutch is buggered
4. The transmission is buggered

EDIT: After further research (https://www.mazdatrix.com/g2.htm) it would also appear the noise could be the TOB (throw out bearing) as it goes away when the clutch is let up and is bad when pushed in.

Or any possible combination of the above.

I have exams on Friday and need to get back to school (3 hours again) and as such I need to order the parts ASAP so I can throw them in and get the car running before Friday morning. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. At this point I'm debating doing the whole shebang. Master, Slave, and Clutch. Although if I'm doing all that I may just do the tranny too if I can find one.

PLEASE HELP. THE VIDEO'S AND PHOTOS ARE UPLOADING AND I WILL POST THEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THANKS!

Also in other news it starts up and sounds like dog ***** now even without the clutch pressed in.
Also lots of white smoke from the tailpipes and this smoke from the right oil cooler vents

I'll be starting my build thread soon because I bought an r3 engine today with 60000 kms on it. IN addition to that I will be ordering a new slave/master cylinder and upgraded clutch, flywheel, and pressureplate etc.

Wait off on the comments for what I should buy until I post that thread.

Until then I'm curious if anyone has any other insights as to problems that this may be or parts I may need to fix this particular issue (clutch noise and grinding and smell)
