I thought so! That's what all of the reviews stated.

I just got mine back from the performance shop I've used for about 15 years. The adjustment procedure did not resolve the issue. The internal transmission parts looked "practically new," according to the shop owner. Nothing wrong, there.

The shop found slop in two areas of the transmission. One involved 3rd and 4th gear, and was a manufacturer defect (something about a spacer being on the wrong side of a nut or something). This caused the problem with 4th gear popping out. The other involved the shift linkage, and explains why there always used to be so much shaking of the shifter while the engine was running. Now the shifter is crisp and smooth, and no longer shakes visibly. The car now shifts better and more precisely than it ever did before. I also took this opportunity to have them install the Exedy Stage 1 clutch and chromoly flywheel. The car has improved clutch pedal feel and is easier to rev-match. I love the improvements to the transmission.
