Question Stock ride heighth

I just ordered a set of Tein S Techs for my 8. But am concerned with the stock gap above my new wheels. I went with the Teins because they have the smaller rear drop and with my wider tires in the rear can't go down to much, which is ok. But kind of wondering about the fronts. They are to drop about 1.4" and I only have about twice that straight down to my tire from the outside of the wheel well down ( to the corner edge of the tire). My offset put the wheels on the front out a bit more than stock also. Would appreciate any postings to assure it will be ok or not.
It seems to me by the pics and posts these cars really do differ in the stock ride heighth alot from one to the other. You wouldn't think the little bit of weight of some the options would create that much differance. I do have a spare in the back also, that probably adde to the rear. Any thoughts. :o

i have the tein s techs too. but the person who sold it to me told me it was a 1.7 drop all around. HAHAH serves me right for being too lazy to look it up. i thought the front was supposed to be a 1.0 drop?? thats wut it said in the paper that came w/ the stuff i think??

She's got 19's with S techs so it should give you an idea how low your car will sit.
