Corksport Front upper Strut Brace review

Hi Everybody!

So I ordered this brace from Cork Sport. It came in all nice and shiny the welds look good overall a good part.. Fitment was great and I got it all installed in 15 Mins.. As I sat and marveled at my handy work and getting all installed with no problems.. I noticed that it gave no access to change the settings on my front coil over.. And is going to make changing the oil filter a PITA!!!.. I got the dampener extender **** but for my camber adj. is still going to be a problem.. But over all it looks good and feels better and I like it just got to figure out some minor fixes..

Cell Phone pix..

Can you modify the brace to allow access to your damper adjustment? A drumel will probably do the trick.

What camber adjustment are you refering to? I am only aware of the cam bolt on the LCA to chassis for camber adjustment. Care to elaborate?

I also have Megan coils and there's no camber plate. Our car doesn't require camber plates, since we have the bolts on the lower control arm.

Notice any difference in handling?

The brace is priced good, but it's bulky and limits access to the areas you mentioned so It's a no go for a good chunk of people running coilovers.

Well.. I was mistaken about the Megan Coil Overs having camber adj. plates there on the top. So all I needed was access to the dampeners.. the Cork Sport Strut Brace is Very Light.. so its not going to add weight..It gives about 1 CM Diameter hole access to install a dampener extension That is what I did.. For other Coil over manufacturers you would need to see what they had available or modify the strut brace itself.. I have the rear cork sport brace too and it does stiffen things up.. Funny thing i noticed is going through a driveway entrance I can tell its more rigid for sure..
