My tire is finally giving out and I need new ones ASAP. My dad recomended Zeon 2XS. Does anyone know anything about them or have a suggestion that is not too expensive and would be good for the 8?

How are they? Have you used them or know someone who has?

 

several people on this forum have them, appears to be solid performers, real selling points for these tires are they are inexpensive!!!! ~$95/tire for stock sizes IIRC....

 

well ive got the zeon's on my e36 m3, & i like them. i dont spend too much time at the limits, but the tires are quiet & fairly sticky. i haven't had them on there long enough to tell about tread wear, but the m3 eats up the rear tires pretty quick as a general rule so it wouldn't be an accurate assessment to begin with. they're definitely very good, i just haven't run enough other tires to really be able to compare...although i am mounting my new t1-r's (245/40) on the 8 tomorrow, so i might be able to give you a first impression on those too.
