As you might guess from my post count, I am new to the RX-8 Community. I recently bought a 2004 RX-8 that I plan on tracking this season. One of the first things I want to address is the suspension on the car as it has 41,000 miles and is totally stock. Does anyone have any information on the BC Racing Coilovers. I noticed they were one of the only companies to allow the customer to choose the spring rates and also seemed reasonably priced as well. I am not necessarily trying to cheap out here, and if they are junk I certainly do not want them; however, I am planning on dropping 4-5 grand on phase 1 (Suspension, Brakes, Ignition, Radiator, Wheels and Tires) of this project so saving a few bucks w/o sacrificing huge performance losses on a good Coilover would be a big plus.
Thanks for any help you guys can offer.
P.S. Any suggestions for track worthy coilovers are welcome too.

I would spend a couple more hundreds on the Bilstein PSS9's

The more I learn about these coilovers, the more I like them.

Agreed. My buddy Nick runs the Stance coilovers and seems relatively pleased with them. Quality is great and he had no issues with them this past autocross season. Hopefully he sees this thread and adds his $0.02...
Thanks guys...I was on the fence about these and think I will suck it up and get the PSS9s. It seems the threads I have searched (yes some noobs "can" actually search) on the Bilsteins are all pretty positive and you certainly cant argue with the brand's reputation.
