WTF huge loss of power

Alright so I am on my way home sitting at a stop light and all the sudden my car stalls out wtf? I restart it and try to go when the light turns green but I dont have any power. WOT and I am barly moving. Then I get power back. Then same thing happens again, no power. I stop at a stop sign and try to take off still no power and a blinking CEL. I redline it through first all the while with a CEL and no power. CEL stayed blinking for about 20 secondsLimp to my house and park. If I let the idle it will stall out after about 10 seconds of idle. Very speratic RPMs while idle and the engine is shaking a whole lot. Not sure if its a clogged cat or fuel filter. Coils, spark plugs and everything were changed at 30k miles. I have about 42k now. WTF is wrong

blinking CEL = misfire.
Either one of the coils is dead or you've got a clogged cat. I know you said you changed the coils recently but try and check them anyways.

In addition to what Jedi said, also check your spark plugs and wire connections.
Check the tightness of the plugs. dosn't happen often but then can loosen.

holy huge picture batman! Unfortunately pictures of the coils tell us nothing.

You need to test them via the instructions I posted

also, make sure your spark plug wires are properly secured to the spark plugs. The bottom ones tend to come loose for some people.

dude, go get some new coils and plugs. Thats all u need, yeah 12 K miles doesn't seem a lot but dealership changed my plugs and coils twice under 7 K miles so go figure.

jesus christ search b4 u post next time, u not even a n00b, how hard is it to search ?

time for more coils. sucks that your didnt' last long but it happens.

Yes, a search will yield LOTS of info but if you read the threads, you'd see that most people solved your issue with coils and / or plugs.

Jedi : rofl. maybe we should. We're gonna be rich in NO FREAKING TIME

to greg : if its clogged cat you probably gonna get **** acceleration at all rpm.

coils + plugs aint that expensive. mazmart running a promote of 4 plugs for 75 + 5 bux shipping = 80. 4 coils = about 110 shipping included.
