NJ re hard start

i have a05 rx8 it's parked inthe garage in the winter but if i don't start it everyday it floodes out and it;s apain to start my friend had anrx7 and said they had problems with that any thoughts thanks Mike

How can it flood out if you don't start it? 0_o

Get a new starter and a new battery and new plugs and new coils, and don't shut it down cold.

Yeah... no reason to start the car everyday to prevent a flooded engine.
Tubingchamp pretty much summed it up.

Next time you are going to let your 8 sit for long periods of time without starting go to walmart and buy a battery mainter/tender. It is like 25-30 bucks and it will keep your battery charged. Never turn off your 8 off when the engine is still cold.

[allready have a chager but when i try to start it it won;t start unless i have the pedal to the floor is it possible fuel is leaking

If you put the pedal to the floor it cuts off the gas supply to the engine. Sounds like your engine is flooded. I would buy some new plugs and look on the rx8club for a deflood DIY.

Dude, did you unflood it? 0_o

That's how you get your car started when it's flooded (pedal to the floor and/or push starting).

You need to get it deflooded ASAP.

wow,

you really dont know what you are talking about. you cannot start the car with the pedal to the floor.

the ecu will not allow that to happen..
