My new rx8 is difficult to start after winter storage
Got my 2007 8 last year as summer only car. It has only 5000km.
Stopped the insurance last year around December when I first see snow and parked it in the garage for few months.
Charged the battery 1 day before starting it up again yesterday. Sure enough, it won't start at all. Instead of cranking it from the charged battery, I decided to jump start it with another of my car. It finally started after 5~10 minutes of constant trying and white smoke came out of exhaust.
Drove it around for a few minutes and turn off the engine, it has no problem starting up again.
Should fuel stabilizer help in my case? Any other suggestion for next time before I put it into hibernation?
