flooded, new spark plugs still wont start

Hello i sadly have a flooded 2005 rx8. I replaced the plugs with some ngk platinum plugs. I did not remove the ESPS when i tryed cranking it over with spark plugs out to deflood it. could i have done any damage doing so? it still wont start.

If you didnt remove the sensor the ecm is still injecting fuel into the combustion chamber. Its not going to deflood. Just pull the fuel pump fuse.

I went through a flooding not to long ago. The sticky for flooding was helpful and cleaning the plugs, battery charger, and persistence worked for me. Even though I bought the battery charger too late and now I think I need a new battery. New plugs are on their way. Good luck!
