Shift **** & Thread Sizes
I think the design of the stock 6m shift **** is great, but it's too small for my hand. I've been researching shift *****, and would very much prefer to stay away from the screw in type - seeing as how they tend to come loose. I was just doing a random search on ebay, and I came across a great looking/ sized shift ****...unforunately, it's a stock Toyota Solara Shift ****. I was wondering if anyone knew the thread size on the Rx-8 Shift ****, as well as the thread sizes for other cars/companys. Mainly Toyota, acura, and honda. This might be useful for other members as well.

There are a couple of threads floating around on this one:

However - to cut to the chase - it is a metric 10mm x 1.25 thread... which is the same as the Miata.
Simon.
