2005 AT, I'm thinking about a catback and some decent coils, I already installed a K&N filter and noticed some improvement and better gas mileage. I couldn't care less about a 1/4 mile tenth of a second, I just want a more efficient, tree-hugger Unfriendly car. That breathes the way it was intended to breathe without the green BS. So other than the weight savings am I looking at how much more power with these? By the way I know search is your friend maybe in Google, but in these crappy Vbulletin powered forums it FN sucks.

a cat back is going to make your car sound different, thats about it. coils, i havent seen HUNDREDS of reviews on, but they should help a minimal amount for NA applications. dont expect to see 20-30hp gains out of any of it... you can buy every bolton the market has to offer and only see 20-30ish horses gained, and thats thousands in parts...

what he said. you'd see more gains if your car was turboed. especially with exhaust. i have cold air and catback ex. and it mostly just sounds really good. i'm looking forward to the gains my exhaust will give me after i t/c the whip.
look into the cobb access port. it cost about $700 and you will see about 20 RWHP.. other than that you can also look into pulleys ($300) and midpipe ($400). and if your crazy enough look in to NO2 and you can get the whole kit from BHR for around $700

if somebody can show me a dyno sheet for and rx-8 with 2 or 3 basic mods like intake/exhaust/underdrive pulley and then show me a dyno sheet on the same car, same day with the cobb accessport with a gain of anywhere near 20 whp, i will buy one immediately. thanks

I have yet to see 20hp but 10-15 is not unreal. Now these were on MT cars. I haven't had a chance to do any dyno time since I got my AP. But I will tell you it makes the car run a lot better.
