Yeah .... Not sure how you found that clip . I'll just say .... It isn't relative to the performance of the kit /turbo .

Is he still using a manual boost controller? Boost seems to fall off real quick. Mine was doing the same thing before with the faulty actuator.

I'm really curious to how your sat navigation system is reading out your numbers. is that just a program you install? if so how and where??

It's an HKS Camp II system specifically made for the RX-8, long discontinued and not very easy to find these days.

Hey guys we recently had a issue with a pair of injectors (blues) that just didn't seem right so we swapped them out for spare pair of injectors and starting over. The video shown has a low 5 psi spring. Once I swap springs the boost drop is much less. I have not used any manual or electronic boost controllers with this kit but planning on using a apexi ebc that will allow me to tune by rpm, this will start off on low boost obviously to prevent from big mistakes happening. I have been putting some driving with the car when time permits and everything is holding up strong. Team is on the money with recording and driving, I chose a back agricultural road after peak hours which is still very risky.

It may take a bit of time to wire up the new ebc but hopefully we will have great results sometime soon now that a few life events have passed.

Ah, you are just on the spring, that explain it.

Gregs, if you have not bought one yet, Hoss-05 is selling an Apexi AVC-R, never installed. He went Adaptronic before he got around to installing it.

Thanks I already have one. I still need to fill in the gaps but I'll worry about that after its setup.

Yeah the wiring is the only PIA, but we were able to find the info needed to get RPM to it.

For some reason they just weren't flowing what would be expected, I yanked them out and had them tested and they were way off.

Out of curiosity, how was the fuel jet and omp vacuum lines plumbed into the charge pipes? I couldn't really see too much from the pictures and the videos.

You don't really need the jet air on a FI setup so you could just cap it at the LIM. But if you run it, run it with a check valve to the intake pipe after the MAF. The OMP line should also run to the intake after the MAF.

Gotcha, I knew these need to be plumbed post maf, I was simply inquiring as to the physical "how these are attached" to the pipes. Like was there a nub pre-existing or was a nipple attached to a drilled hole?

I feel like this set-up would really benefit from an electric oil scavenger

Haha Team I apologize for the lack of updates. It gets harder to check into the 8 club with everything going on. The car is working great, with a couple of years on this kit we haven't experienced any parts issues. Working with Scott we have successfully setup the Greddy Profec E01 and with full rpm tuning capability, Unfortunately being a outstanding California citizen the rx8 is now due for smog next month we have halted the progress on getting the boost profile worked out until I finish installing/fabbing the air pump and factory cat and complete the emissions test. We are extremely close to finishing the final piece to the puzzle to successfully really wake this car up, the low boost results are definitely showing great results and really looking foward to what's to come very soon. She drives great and is still a blast even at 6 psi. I am extremely anxious to get the car dialed in at 100% in between of working on the cars I have collected a good number of wheels and tires pretty much for every occasion lightweight wheels with grippy tires, drag wheel and tire setup etc. I can't thank enough Scott and Brettus for all their constant help and support.

Btw to add to the constant madness that goes on at my place I have added another future project that will be set aside for now and in hopes sometime next year we will begin to work on this gem. FD3S is 100% percent stock and in very good shape.
