pioneer avh-p4000dvd question

just wondering, i have a 4 way amp for my speakers in the car and a mono amp for 2 subs, going to install the p4000, it said it has sub out. but after a review i read that said " The only con is I wish it had a separate line out for subwoofer. As this unit has rear output that you can use for rear full range speakers or subwoofer but not both " does that mean its not guna work with my amps? or am i just stupid, somebody help??

There is no dedicated subwoofer preout. You'll either have to use high-level (speaker lead) inputs on one of the amps or use RCA y-cables.

If your amp has pass through rca outputs, you use those to run multiple amps. If you do not, the simple route is the rca y- cable. The better route is to purchase a Audio Control 6XS that takes one input and gives 3 outputs (inc. sub level control). It also adds a damn fine crossover, master level controller and a 6 channel line driver. This will bring the system to life.
