Question Calling all NAV and GPS experts, come to my aid please lol

hello folks, im going in today to purchase my black rx 8 ))) yay!

but the ones that come to turkey don't have NAV or GPS systems, so i want to buy and install one later....but i have no idea what to buy, or which one to buy?!?

could someone walk me through an installation? i dont know if they even have a turkish database?

If you go about buying the complete navigation system for mazda (originally a $2,000 option)....you will end up spending A LOT MORE as they charge a lot for the system by itself. What a lot of people are doing, and I plan to soon, is simply getting the navigation screen/housing, purchasing a touch screen, and building a carpc. With this, you will be able to use navigation, listen to music on your harddrive, watch movies, etc etc. A good place to start looking for a nicely priced, and great condition housing would be paul at mazmart. you'll probably ask European RX-8 owners about portable GPS systems available over there.
