Alittle help to the people that need amp install

First off I would like to say thank you to all of you that have posted something about the audio and now I am going to give alittle advice to the Nubs that do not no much.

I am going to run down the easiest way to install a amp and subs

1) Power Wire- Run on drivers side its much easier. You will have to remove the side above the RX-8 sticker, but you do not have to remove the seat I was able to reach my hand in the back of the seat and find a hole to run the wire to my trunk.

2) Remote wire- Run it in the middle console to the cig lighter (Ok I didnt want to take apart my middle console so I got a 12v Cell Phone Charger and connected in t he 12v cig and connected my remote wire to the end of it.! I did not splice the wire just stuck it in the end and it worked fine 11.98v constant)

3) Ground I was able to get a great ground in my trunk off the old spare tire bolts( If you cant get a good ground run the ground back to the battery, The best the to do its get a meter so you can check to where you are getting your best ground

4)Sub connect it you your amp. RCA jacks on amp go to the line out conveter and then you your speaker wires on the Line Out Converter goes to your rear speaker.

That is pretty much it! It took me about 4 hours figuering out how to run all this but I will say that you will need a Voltage metter so you can figure out your good grounds and bad. Well I hope this helped someone I will post some pics soon of the work I have done. By the way My set up is a RF Punch 500 JLW3 (Gotta love to sound quality!)

Thumbs up

Here are the pics of where I put the ground. I Took the the pole that held my spare tire. It works good for a ground. If you dont have that then I would suggest running it to your battery.

Did you bolt it to the black bracket, or to (what appears to be) the bolt underneath it?

The black Bracket. Those 2 holes you see are screw screw holes.
