V-Led Quailty?

V-Led Quailty?
So I ordered a set of LED fog lights as well as a set of 194 Parking lights from V-led.com. Then I ran into some issues.
First one of my fog lights didn't light up completely, the tip didn't light.
Now I come to find that one of my parking lights has died completely! I checked the socket with a standard 194 and it works great.
Am I wrong to believe that these are poor quality bulbs? Or am I doing something wrong?

LEDs are diode.
They have polarity.
They will only if you connect them in right.
Try to flip them. They should light up.

So they lit for a while?
LEDs hate high heat and power surge.
I guess one of this reason kills them.

Got some V-leds throughout my entire car from a year ago and they all still work great for me! Shoot them an e-mail and see if they will swap them out. It may be just a handful of bad LEDs!

I thought people have posted that you may need to put a resistor or something before the led to prevent surges from blowing them out. When turning on your car, it is not putting out a steady voltage, it bounces around a little bit. Although regular bulbs can handle this, the delicate led's cannot.
If its a $0.01 for your thoughts, and everyone always gives $0.02, somebody's making some money. Maybe for a turbo.

I've had issues with there v-star taillight malfunctioning. I now have gone through 3 because of defect. Now waiting on the forth V-star to be shipped. I like them a lot but, it seem that is the case of LEDs less complicated equals better quality...

I've contacted them and they were very quick to agree to replace them. I don't doubt their customer service in the least.
It's the quality of the product that has me worried. As much of a pain as it is to get to the fogs and the finger contortion to get the parking lights out, I don't want to replace these things on a monthly basis.
+1 for the understanding that new LED's didn't require a resistor.

There is no need to put a resistor before the v-leds because they are already equipped with one, or at least I believe. I know some of their older model led's had issues of burning out, but as another user said, email them and address your problem and they will surely help.

I've had V-LEDs in my parking and corners for a while now, never had any issues. I've been very impressed with them so far. I've also had good luck with AutoLumination products. But steer clear of SuperBrightLEDs.

no need to worry about vled's quality. I've used their bulbs to replace just about EVERY light in my car and have never had any fail.
you must have just gotten a bad batch.

LEDs are susceptible to having bad patches like any other thing in the world. Contact v-leds. I've had the parking, corner and fog lights like aipex8 did. I love it.
The only problem i had was that my driver fog does light but thats because of my install error. It is just a little loose and sometimes i needa just tap it

Like I said previously I've had problems with there V-star lights. However, I can say that the people at V-led do stand by there products and their refund/return process is very trouble free. I will continue to order from them in the future.
