Dealer to Install or Myself?
Hey guys this is my first thread and I think this forum is great! Anyways, I'm picking up my Titanium Gray next week from the dealer but I already purchased some strakes and front splash guards from Trussville. Do you think I should have the dealer install the strakes and guards for me upon delivery of my car providing it's free of charge or for a small fee since it won't take them that long to install plus they have the proper tools for installation or should I install them myself? What do you guys think? And if so what's a good way to pursuade the dealer to install them for me.

FYI - rear appearance package "flares" (look like rear mud guards). To install, you need to remove the rear bumper, drill a hole in each outer side, drill a SLOT in each outer side, reinstall. Another two hours (with a lift).
Side appearance package pieces (under the rear doors) - again cut the black plastic piece under the car to specified length, remove several plugs from the underside of the chassis, drill 5 holes in the side of the car (VERY time consuming - 5 templates per side and you HAVE to get it right) - another 2 - 3 hours.
Front spoiler/air dam instructions said you needed to remove the entire front bumper to drill the proper holes (6 in all), but on the lift it was discovered that the "starter" holes are marked for you on the backside of the original bumper, so if you can get a drill in there, it can be done without removal of the bumper - 1 hour
Spare Tire Kit - 45 minutes, only two small holes drilled (for the cushion), could be done easily by owner.
After this experience, I am having the dealer install EVERYTHING from now on. There is NO WAY I would have tried any of this at home (except the spare tire kit) - and I change my own clutches in the driveway (as well as all other maintenance).

Thanks for the info but the instructions that came with the front splash guards never states needing to drill any holes. If that's true the dealer will install my stuff for me

NO DRILLING for the mud guards....you use the existing holes around the wheel well to mount this item...(i know, i did it)
If you ordered a GT, the black strip (rock deflector) of plastic on the bottom needs to be cut, but that's not hard.
Strakes again are easy, just need to make sure they are straight...

i just ordered the rear aero flares from Trussville...but I didnt know you had to take the bumper off to install them? I thought they would have somehow used the plugs like the mudguards do.
Has anyone done this? Are there any instructions on how to do it?

The aero flares come with a molded in screw a couple of inches long, and a molded slot about 1/2" to 3/4" that fit right into the rear bumper. The instructions tell you to drill three holes and then "slot" them together, plus drill the hole for the molded in bolt.
Measure twice (or 10 times), cut once.
