DIY: RX8 Flooded?? Start Method
I know there is lots of post on this but here's what I did to restart it:
1st Charge your battery overnight. (You'll need all the power you can get)
Obtain 2ft. of 1/8 Rubber Vacuum Tubing, A T-Connector, A bottle of Rubbing Alcohol.
Attach a 2in piece of the Rubber Tubing to the side of the T-Connector
Attach a 2in piece of the Rubber Tubing to the OTHER side of the T-Connector
Attach a 12" piece of the Rubber Tubing to the Middle end of the T-Connector
Next, pull the Rubber Caps off your Intake Manifold located on the Passenger side and Connect the two short ends to either Manifold Nipple.
Now, prepare to start the car. Crank the Enginer over for about 10sec with the Gas Pedal pushed all the way to the FLOOR. By keeping the Gas Pedal pushed to the FLOOR, this sends a signal to the engine NOT to squirt anymore gas to the Engine and opens the exhaust ports so you can now clear any Gas that is in the Rotary Exhaust Chambers. Perform this Process for 5 times.
Now the Engine Cylinder should be empty and you'll now need to prime the Engine, which will provide Lubricate to help the Engine create Compression and Alcohol to provide Combustion. This is where the Rubbing Alcohol comes in. It contains no oil so if you flood it again, while trying to start, it won't foul the plugs out. Take the Rubbing Alcohol and squirt it into the Rubber Vacuum Tube connected to the Intake that you did earlier. If you have a Bottle of Rubbing Alcohol, you can poke a little hole in the Cap and Squirt that way or pour it into a Spray Bottle that can Spray a Stream.
Now how much do you Squirt?? I used a Squirt Bottle and squirted about 10 squirts. With my foot OFF the gas pedal, I started cranking and the engine started up and ran for about 5secs. Hmmm??
I repeated the steps to clear out the gas in the very begining, then this time I squirted about 20 squirts, again with foot OFF the pedal, I started the engine and it started running, puttering, smoking and I started playing with the gas pedal by (SLOWLY) increasing the speed faster and faster. Keep the Engine Running around 1k to 2k RPMs, let it warm up GOOD this time and then take it for a nice spin on a open road or Freeway to help clear all the gunk out of the engine.
You can remove your Clever Hose hookup and replace with the original Rubber Nipples, cause the odds of you doing this again won't happen until the next Winter with Low Temps. (And if it does, just print this out, laminate it and tape to your windshield on the Drivers Side.
Hope this helps. I know, I know, there are lots of threads/posts on this using everything from WD-40 to WW Washer Fluid and thats cool. If someone reads this and it helps them get their RX8 back on the road sooner.....well that just means they'll be more of us out enjoying our Mean Machines.

To prevent the injectors working you could also pull the EGI fuse and crank it. Also you could have another car's battery attached to yours while you are doing this, hopefully they have time to spare.
