Sr Highflow Midpipe Installed

I'm running the sr highflow cat w/ the stock exhaust. The noise level did increase a bit over the stock setup, but it's not very noticable unless you go wot. The exhaust note is definately deeper and you can hear that famed rotary sound even more now. Is anyone out there running this midpipe with an aftermarket exhaust?? Just curious as to how much louder this would make the car. You can feel a difference in acceleration especially when you hit 6250 rpm......there is a huge surge in power :D

This is good news. How long have you had it on?

There are quite a few people running a high-flow with an aftermarket exhaust. There was a SR motorsports high-flow cat thread not too long ago, I think Nemesis started it. I couldn't find it with a quick search, but I know some people had to have resonators installed somewhere on the pipe as the combo is extremely loud.

Much louder with cat back exhaust. There are a number of video posts with the SR and cat backs, search around a little. The exhaust note will change a little with burn in, but more so with cat back change.

I have a custom 3.5" straight through exhaust with some Magnaflow straight through mufflers on it and the car sounds like an F1. The Typhoon intake makes it sounds that way though. The exhaust is very deep until I get on the gas then it lets everyone know I'm coming and fast. It whines up to 9000 rpms and then shoots a nice big flame out the back just to top things off. I'll try to load a sounds clip. It does get annoying on longs interstate trips though.
