Project: Show Some Love...
Introduction:
I've been following the great projects by fellow forum members and watched this community from the outside for quite a long time. I've been following the posts here since 2003 and finally decided to join in 2004. Work family life and other hobbies have lead me to neglect my car so I'm starting, partially out of necessity my project, Show Some Love, to give my 2004 Titanium Grey RX-8 some well needed refreshing, cleaning, and a few upgrades.
Chapter 1: Get It Running
For the first chapter in the story of this project I will be installing the RX8Performance Performance Oil Cooler Kit. One of the stock cooler lines failed. I already started and hope to finish up this evening. Unfortunately I didn't decide to write about this until after I had already started taking things apart so I won't have too many images of that process, but as I'm just starting the installation of the RX8Performance parts I'll try to capture those images and update this post.
In addition to the above mentioned part I also have the BHR ignition system that I will be installing at this time as well. I've had this part sitting around for quite some time and since I'm digging into the car to this degree I might as well get this put on at this time.

Slow progress
Well, I'm making slow progress on getting this thing buttoned up. I have the two lines connected at the engine and don't have plans to finish up the install until this weekend. Work just keeps me busy.

Well, this project was cut short. The RX8 Performance oil coolers and lines were added. And I love the look of them. Didn't really get a chance to live with any benefits they would provide and I quickly realized that I have engine troubles. And, this just as I was ready to really start doing some cool things with my car. Ah well! Such is life.
