One magazine (Option Japan) last year quoted 13 ps (@ wheel) on the AMUSE titanium cat back.
It is only if you believe it or not.
Someone in Melbourne had one before, it cracked after 4 months :p

cracked after 4 months? then i don't think it's worth it to buy it. It cost a lot. I've brought a magazine with all the mods u can get for rx8.(Japanese) There is many other different brands of exhaust for the 8, because Amuse are easy to crack, so there is other two brands i'm thinking of, RE Amemiya or FujiSubo. Please give me some ideas.

fujitsubo is very nice... I heard a clip of it before sounded a lot like stock. Too bad we don't have those here in the states. I recommend posting in your regional forum to get more feedback, since most of the exhausts offered there that you are picking between is not offered everywhere.

Sounds like the RX-8 sports mag since it has a nicer picture of the Fujitsubo. It is worth looking at HyperRev and RX-8 fun book too.
I have the Fuji and I think they are very nice. Not too much of a gain - I think they said 3.4kW at the wheel. Check my site.

The exhaust you hear is very important and please have in your mind what you are looking for:
The power gain is not much in ANY of them. So stop the debate right there.
The noise you are after. Noisy, deep throat, or like the Fujitsubo. Only have sounds when you need it.
The price you are willing to pay.
And the exhaust tip.
I can tell you Fuji is not a good exhaust but the best in term of its finish. It is a piece of art. It sounds fantastic on the track but yet it is quiet while cruising. My baby falls asleep in my car while cruising on the highway!
