Hey all,

Just want to say that this forum has always been a huge help for me from the start with my car, but unfortunately it's time to move on. I pretty much just don't get to drive the car enough. I do drive it at least once a week just to warm it up and redline it, and recently took it South Carolina and back.

I believe I'm the second owner of the car. The previous one was another forum user here named Boer Rx8. We have both taken great care of the car. Changing fluids more often than necessary.

I changed the brake pads last summer for hawk hps and bought a new battery in January (Optima Red top), but other than that it's been just standard maintenance.

I'm posting here and on craigslist. I'd much rather let the car go to someone here though because I know if you're spending time on the site then it will be taken care of! I'm also listing the car at $500 less here, and would be more than happy to take best offers if I know the car is going to someone who will take care of it.


This car has only 56,000 miles on it. I have owned the car for 2 years, and it has never had any mechanical issues. I take great care of it, but only get to drive it on weekends at best, and I'm looking to give it a better home. I've changed the oil every every 4 months as I have yet to go over 3000 miles in 1/4 of a year.

It is Sunlight Silver GT Model with a sun roof and black marker lights. Other than that it is stock mechanically and appearance wise. The only thing that sets it apart in appearence are blacked out marker lights. It does have an EXTREMELY LOUD Pioneer sound system w/ DVD and navigation + Ipod connectivity.

It is a fully loaded GT model so of course it has leather, sunroof, heated seats etc.

I'm asking for $9000 or best offer as I haven't seen any other Rx8's with that few miles for that price, and it's well below the Kbb "very good" price.

Just attached pictures. Carmax just offered me $7750 for it. If anyone can match that I'd be more than happy to let them have it instead of Carmax!

Carmax offered me $7750, so if anyone can match or beat the price, then they can have it. I'd really like to see this car go to someone on the forum because I know they'd take better care of it.

I didn't mention it before, because it's probably not worth mentioning, but the car will come with a not-installed K&N Typhoon 2 air filter and I do have rubber rx8 rotary floor mats.

The aftermarket stereo is amazing:
Flip up screen
DVD
GPS
Sirius/XM connectivity.
IPOD connectivity/charge.

I also have the original head unit if you wanted to swap it out.
