Imagine how much the Zaino would have comprehensively won the test with 5 coats each of Z2, Z5 and Z6.
I doubted how good Zaino was but I am now a Zaino user for life!
Applying Zaino products is also effortless, which is good for a weakling like me.

I have used Meguiars, Zymol and Gliptone (with Dupont Teflon) Meguires looks the best on the car but the Gliptone keeps the car looking damn good, longer than the others. And this wax is Clear Coat safe.
I will have to try Zaino next and see how that looks on the car.

I was undecided between zymol and zaino but after much reading and research I'm going to try zaino. I've been using Meguiar's ever since I can remember but zaino looks very promising so I'll give it a try. Heck I was gona try the zymol concours @ $164, but if for $85 bucks I can get the zaino kit plus it seems to be a much better wax I'll rather try it first.

My Turrtle wax works wonders!! It even leaves green streaks if I miss some on the car...

Yep love my Zaino, goes on super easy, last extremely long and unlike some waxes it will not leave the nasty white marks on plastic (just in case you get some on the it).
The detailer spray is the best by far.
LInk to a pic
This is after about 2 months, rain etc normal road grime etc and simply washing once a week.
I had pics of my friends SRT, but after 3 coats you could not see the hood budge from the side. The mirror reflection was so great that it made it seem like the budge was gone.
Amazing stuff.

Question. I know that Zaino makes a number of different "waxes" and such, but in looking over their product line, I realize that I dont even know what type of paint (or wax) to use on my (brand new) '8. Still has stock everything including paint. Little help here?

I've seen that wax test before, can't remember if I got the link here tho. It was a good test. I'm using Meguire's NXT these days. I'm not doing the car show thing anymore and don't have the time/money for Zaino.
To be honest, I haven't waxed in a good 6 months. I need to get out and do it soon.
You really don't need the entire package with zaino, just the prep, wax and accelerator. Can't remember the numbers, but they're on the site.

i use meguiars tech wax. I 've tried zymol, and zaino but i prefer tech wax only because its easier to apply. Zaino is harder to apply and takes more time. BTW, I've waxed my car 93 times.

First, have to correct myself, it's a polish not a wax. My bad. Right off the zaino web page, you will *need*:
Z1 "polish lock" or the new ZFX accelerator additive (use the accelerator)
Z2 Pro polish
Z5 (optional, but highly recommended)
Z6 (never used it)
Z7 (Zaino's car wash, I used my own instead)
I skipped the Z5 and Z6. If I ever do it again I'll get some Z5 as I have horrible swirl marks. Long story.

um... i forgot what number it is, but i think you also need the gloss enhancer. i forget which one it is, Z6 or Z7, but its really good. you need to use that to give it that final shine.
what you said + the gloss enhancer is IMO the bare minimum of the stuff you need.
I personally just sprang for the 90 dollar kit with all the stuff in it. warning though, the more layer you put on your car the better it looks, its crazy and gets really addictive, its one of those things where once you start, you cant stop.
