Hello Everyone,
I am selling my stock wheels off of my 2004 RX-8. The wheels have 24,000 miles on them and have never seen snow. They have only seen rain a handful of times as well. The wheels are 99% mint, with no bends or cracks. Tiny imperfections can be seen in the below pictures, but these are only visible within a foot of the wheels. Mazda center caps included. TPMS (tire pressure monitor sensors) are currently mounted in the wheels. Tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE04. Two of the tires have 5/32" tread left, and two are down to wear bars (2/32"). The two tires down to wear bars need to be replaced if you plan on using in the rain, but they are good for an autocross or track day event. The two tires with 5/32" tread should be good for another 7-8k miles.
The wheels are 18x8, 5x4.5" (5x114.3 mm) bolt pattern, and are +50 offset (ET50).
Tires are 225/45R18
$500 for wheels, tires, TPMS, and center caps. $400 for just the wheels and center caps.
I would like to keep this a local sale if possible to avoid the hassle/cost of shipping. I live in Dubuque, Iowa (about 2 hours west of Chicago), so it is possible to meet somewhere within an hour or two to sell.

Upgrading to 17x9 or 18x9 wheels, so I am open to trades if you have 9" wide wheels

I am open to shipping, at the expense of the buyer, but am unsure on the logistics and do not want to be ripped off. If the wheels are still for sale in a week I will consider it more seriously.

Sounds good. I bought another set in July from another member for winter use so I can help on logistics. We just did paypal, I paid and he shipped.

I would feel much better about it if the other seller could provide some feedback on the transaction you had with him/her. Could you message them and ask to post in the good guy/bad guy forum (or on this sell post) about the transaction? If you provide your zip code I will look into shipping cost as well.
