Aren't the release and throwout bearing the same thing?

^ yes they are but I think he means throwout and pinion bearings... the two bearing that are always replaced when replacing a clutch.

Yeah, I think the other one is called the pilot bearing. Whatever they're called, I don't have but one of them and I'm not sure it can be reused. That is why I didn't photograph it or list it. I'll throw it in. If its good, BONUS. But I'd plan on picking up both.
