It snowed on my track day

Unexpected dip in weather means I now get to have an opinion on how Rivals behave in freezing weather :/

It was a hilarious day. Good practice for sure lol.

Crazy, was it just the 4 cars on the track? Looked like a lancer, cadillac, and BMW + yourself...

Pretty much! The run group gradually pitted as the session went on.

You can't see it in the video, but the snow blowing in one direction and the road curving in the opposite direction screws up your perception of movement. Brain can't process.

It was a blast, I'd love to do again actually. I don't know if it's the slippery surface or that I was paying more attention (or my imagination) but I felt the tires through the car a lot more than usual.

My instructors have recommended ice racing in the past.. I guess for this reason. In the dry I'm usually planning the turns (go deep, turn early, choice of apex, etc). In this mess, planning is useless, I was just feeling my way though features.
