Yet another WRX owner
I too have switched to the "dark side" in my attempt at a mid-life crisis (I'm turning 25 soon, I'll let you guys do the math) plus I wanted to get a graduation present for myself.
I know Deslock, we were in NESIC together.
Though I love my WRX dearly, I couldn't not have the 8. Bought a Red 6spd. Only option was the sport package- I already have a bunch of stereo stuff that'll be put in
now I have to put wrench time to take the parts off of the Subaru
I'll miss ice racing and rally-x with the subaru, but I plan on ice racing and auto-x the 8

That's the joke
as for the rally-x stuff, I don't think I want to do it with the 8. As much as I know I could do it (I've seen MKII Supras run) it's hell on the car, much more than anything I've ever done. I just don't want to do that to the 8. The Subaru- rally car and all that jazz, the 8- no way in hell

Another convert here. I still get teased about being a traitor, both by my local Subaru club, and other people in our scca car club who thought I'd always be in Subaru.
Another WRX owner saw my spare tire sitting out when we were racing this weekend, and told me I should get 4 of them, mount them up and go ice racing with the funny yellow Enkei wheels and skinny tires! Who knows, maybe he's got something there!
