whoop! schedualed for a dyno run this friday at RP

Hello all,

not anything really useful information wise but im just really exceited, this friday at 2pm I'm taking my RX8 to rotary performance to get a bone stock dyno run on my car. I wanted to have something to base any gains I might get for the future... current things on the plan include the RP supercat, RB exaust to start.

It will be nice to finally know some hard numbers to associate with my car though.

I was curious if Rotary Performance would do a dyno run and what they would charge. I plan on driving up there in a couple of weeks to pick up a RP Supercat if I can get off work ever as they arn't open on Saturday. Do you simply set up an appointment?

Anyways, let us know how it goes.

Yeah -- i called and they said they "normally" dont just do plain dyno runs... they kept asking me if I was coming in for tuning+dyno. After telling them my situation they said yeah its best to make an appoitnment because they are using the dyno "All the time". So i just set one up right there. Wow you are driving all the way from waco to come up to RP just to pick up a cat? why not just have them ship it to you?

I thought about that but I usually drive up to the Dallas area at least one a month as I have family there. I actually used to live in Garland not far from Rotary Performance.

I also wanted to check out the shop and all the nice 7's that are usually sitting around. And maybe if I'm dropping $400 on a RP supercat they'll work me in the dyno schedule...
