Question Starter Problem and water in Fog Light Wires

I decided to go ahead and change my H11 Fog light bulbs while doing the oil. Its pretty easy. But while disconnecting the wires from the fog lights, water came running out of the wires. I don't know if any of you fellow members have experienced this as well. BTW the lights look great. They match the stock Xenon very well.

Also I've been noticing this for a couple weeks now and didn't think anything of it but when I turn my car off, I hear a clank sound. It's happens right after turning the ignition off at any point. Wether the ignition be on for the engine to be running or just listening to music. Does anyone know/think my starter is going bad?

Are you talking about the "tat!" sound right after you shut your engine off ?

if yes then yes I got that sound as well.

As for water Im not sure, which replacement fog light bulb you got ? I was thinking of getting a pair of PIAA bulbs since I heard they're really good.

Yes, that sound. I thought something was wrong. I really never paid attention to it. As for the fog lights. I got them off of ebay for real cheap.

I swapped out my H11's with PIAAs also and water ran out down along the wire right into my mouth! I was freaked for a sec because I didn't know what ran into my mouth. Water ran out of the other side also, but I was ready for it. I put the new bulbs in and everything works fine.

Lol!

That being said, its always good to wear safety goggles when under a car. No one needs metal shards or other junk in their eyes.
