P0037 o2 Sensor Suggestions - Auto

Hi, just joined the site. I need some suggestions for an automatic '04 rx8 bank 1 sensor 2 o2 sensor. Looking for something a little cheaper than the $120 mazda one...could I just use a universal? I need to get rid of this code to pass inspection.

Well, autozone sells a universal for $60, or I could go with the Mazda one for $120. Seeing as I was recently laid off, I am trying to save as much money as possible. Unfortunate circumstance. But that is why I am here, trying to get a knowledgeable answer from people who obviously know more than I do.

In fact, I removed it and replaced it to be sure it was screwed on properly, but I am still getting the CEL. It looks like I will probably end up replacing the rear O2 sensor. I have read a thread here that I can get one for around $80 on ebay so I will check that out. Is this something that I should be able to replace myself? If I have to drop the gas tank or something else major then I will end up going to the dealer (groan). Thanks for any help in advance.
I have looked at ebay and have not seen an $80 o2 sensor...maybe someone could enlighten me.
