Need Help Identifying a Piece

I just did the BHR ignition install today and while I had the air box off, I leaned on it and heard snap. When I looked around, I found a piece to a Mitsubishi part. I was hoping someone can tell me what it was that broke off and how critical it is. (A part # would be nice too :D)

Appreciate whatever help you can give.

That is the cap for one of the four vacuum actuators in the car. four under the upper intake manifold and one up front on the stock intake box.

Thanks for the reply. Did they change the part? I found a diagram, and a part on Rosenthal, but when I look at my car, it looks very different.

So last question, will this part being broken harm the 8 while I wait for the part to show up? I'll mostly be doing short trips (10 minute drive to the train station).

Keep it under 5250 rpm and it should be fine that acts as a filter/debris sleeve when the valve swaps at 5250 rpm.
