Mazda Rx8 Vs NYC MTA BUS......
so im taking my brother to look at cars in Queens, after a while we got hungry decided to go to wendys right on 69st and Northern Blvd. when we pulling up the driveway to the parking lot i hear a horn and BOOOOM got hit. we actually finished climing the sidewalk after that. in my head i was S@#$% this is ****** great. looked back and i see a NYC Bus. F up my back bumper, not by much but cracked the bumper and the bottom muffler thing (dont know how you call it). amazed how good the car too that hit, the part that make me smile was that i saw a tiny scratch on the bus in my head i was like good at least you didnt go down like a bitch.

lol the asshat was on the F..ing phone. my boy was on the passenger seat he comes out and saw the guy on a head set. he goes WTF man you not supposed to be on the phone learn how to drive. the bus driver said your mother dont know how to drive. lol we got the guy in trouble cause my lil brother got to the accident and we told him about the cell and he mentioned it to the cops and the MTA insurance people and they checked the phone and gave the driver a ticket. after i saw that i felt kinda bad cause thats the guys job.

why do u even feel bad ? Is his job a reception or something ? Hes just a damn bus driver. plus cell phone talk + driving is stictly prohibited
Think of it on a bright side, he was actually LUCKY to hit you .... think of what if it hits SOMEBODY .... I still feel sorry for yoru car tho.
Its good, time to teach these people a lesson
His insurance will pay for everything I guess, since its his fault for sure.

Don't feel bad about the driver losing his job (if he did). Lot of people ride the bus everyday putting their lives in the hands of the driver. You can't have a bus driver who yaps on the cellphone, especially in Northern Blvd traffic. I've read a few days ago (New Yorker I think) about another study saying that headsets do not significantly help driving concentration.

No reason to feel bad at all. One of the reasons I carry a small camera with me is for that reason. If I get hit and they have a damn phone on their hand, I'm taking a picture. In Chicago It's not legal to talk while driving. The cops dont do nothing , can't understant why , cause they would make a killing with fines. If I get a picture with them on the phone I win that case in a heart beat. Eventually they'll learn something!

To be clear, was he on his cell phone or on a radio-handset phone like the one pictured below? Some transit companies have strict policies about not using cell phones while driving a bus. As in, if a supervisor sees it, you're fired.

*I have back pain, chest pain, Leg pain .... and alot of headace*
Next, Go out get your report, talk to your insurance, go to a doctor tell them you have all the pain, they will run checks but it doesnt matter, just need prove that you've seen a doctor. then find a greedy lawyer(newspaper!) and start the process.
My friend was on a bike and got hit by this Van about 2-3 years ago, and he JUST got his money like 3 months ago. So act quick cuz its a really long process. but im sure you'll be able to get more money out from MTA than most insurance company
