Hi all
i have a MY 04 RX8 the 230 model. ive had it a year and i love it! its just done 100,000miles and still going but im thinking its going to need the 'tips' doing soon? so im here to learn and find out whats involved. i want to gain more power as i do this and have heard of porting as being an option? i have a full decat exhaust and tubular headers already....so whats next?

Thank you for the links...yes i am from the uk! sorry! its not that easy to get much information over here on tuning the rotary. im looking forward to rebuilding my first rotary. looks an interesting project

Read through the First $100 thread in my signature. Great stuff for an older 8. You will have to convert the title to pounds...
Many have reported that list provides your first performance increase. One thing that is soon the be added is testing the fuel pump. I just need to find an easy procedure.

I would settle for a hard one. Right now the options are to go to a track and turn left really really fast, or replace it and see if the car runs better. The Mazda manual is of no use. I have a know bad pump in the carrier, and a known good pump in the car. Do we know what good pressure is at nominal battery voltage and the engine not running? I assume a gauge that will attach the the QD at the pump is available or can easily be had. Is there a QD under the hood as well?
