Good bye rx8 and the great people at rx8 club
Well I would like to start off by saying thanks to everyone on here, been a big help, and especially the ppl over at BHR for their help on the good ol nitrous. But It was time to move on. I had several reasons, at first I considered getting another, more affordable sports car, then changed my mind completely, wanted a big change, and something much more convenient. I traded in my rx8, and bought myself a Nissan Xterra. No I didnt have children, or need a mall crawler, I figured if Im going to get out of the sports car game for awhile, I may as well try something different. So i got a 6 speed with the off road package, skid plates, and a rear locker. Had it for a few weeks now, and I love it, went down a few trails, nothing to complicated yet, but had her completely covered in mud at one point. defiantly a different vehicle, but thats what I wanted. I didn't want to look back on the 8 and think what a better car it was, I wanted something that was so different, they weren't comparable. So here's a few pictures, first of the 8, and then of the new wheels.
The 8 with the girlfriend.
And the new xterra. pretty bad pictures, just a few quick shots.
This one shows the wheels I painted...and my dog :D
Well, I'll still stick my head in here and there, never really been one to post a lot, pretty obvious by my count, but have read probably about 80% of what's on this site, read for nearly a year before I even became a member. Really a great forum. Thanks for the help everyone ever gave me.

Lol the girl is still there, just didnt have any decent pictures from the beach, as they were all taken with a phone, and thanks guys. Reading some things on this site tonight, has made me miss the 8 for the first time, I still wave to anyone I see in one, and some of them seem to recognize me still. lol. Got to say though, I am loving being able to go over a speed bump without scraping, and...you know....going through 5 feet of water is also fun :D

I can't imagine trading this car for an SUV. It's a little late now I suppose, but why didn't you get a beat-up old pickup truck or something as a "support vehicle"?

Oh I plan on coming back, but probably not with the 8, possibly whatever they throw the 16x in, or even a FD, I love the rx8, but am not one to have the same car twice, but love live the triangles, lol.
