flashing the car

i read a lot about flashing here and there...and i dont really understand it. How do i know what flash version do i have? how do i know there is a lastest flash? and how do I know the new flash wont screw up the car even more (for FI car's)?

You can pull the version out by using a Canscanner like Scanalyser

and you can compare the file numbers to check what flash you're on.

the last flash for the 6 mt is the s.... if you had the recall done you are on the r....

if your greedy turbo is running good..... you do not have the r or the s... leave well enough alone...

i dont understand this either.... what would showing your tittays to your car actually do for it?! LOL
