Flashing Airbag light - then solid when driving?
Hi all
recently was driving around and my airbag light started blinking every now and then. When driving home later it was solid off "normal" the whole trip. TODAY it was blinking for a bit then went solid on.
The only thing ive done recently was run my Amp power wire thru the firewall (down the passenger side) and to the trunk and then even more recently wire up my 6XS audiocontrol crossover hooked into the center console ashtray power and ground wire (and the wires run hidden under the console to the trunk. Currently I have all my back seats out (to where the metal covering the gas tank is exposed while I slowly work on my sound system. I'm partially hoping that once I get everything done the light will somehow go away but I'm always concerned and hope to get some ideas from you guys.
Thanks in advance!

Check the connectors under the dash for the air bags and under the seats. They can get disconnected and throw a light.
Make sure and disconnect power before reconnecting them to make sure they do not go off.
They are deployed if grounded.
If you aren't comfortable with doing that then the dealer should take care of it as warranty work as long as you didn't disrupt something with the audio install.

Vincent Mazda up in Rochester did a poor job of reinstalling my front airbags after I hit a deer. My airbag light will come on and flash the code for 'problem with front, passenger airbag' on about 50% of my trips.
What you're seeing with the flashing is a code. I think mine goes 3-2 (3 flashes, pause, 2 flashes). The code is presented 3 times, then the light stays on solid.
Mine is really flakey - sometimes the code is presented immediately at ignition; sometimes the error occurs randomly in the middle of a tripl sometimes the error does not occur at all.
