Finally Got One!
So after many, many a night reading through these forums, drooling over everyone's rx8s and deliberating on purchasing one, I finally decided to get it! Loved rx8's since I first sat in one back during the first production year (my cousin's friend must have been rich to get one in high school). But yeah, got a red 2004 last week... and you can guess why it took me so long to post. Still suck at stick, but I'm getting there. And.. now for some proof pics:

I see you have all the goodies including the aero package and navigation plus two tone interior that even matches your exterior paint. Good for you hahaha you probably have a smile on your face most of the time these days eh?

Congrats on the car and welcome to the club!
There's lots of information here to get you going as a new owner and a large community of fellow enthusiasts to meet.

Congrats, awesome choice. Even better being a Velocity Red
Welcome to the club and just a heads up, take nothing personal here as people are very up front on their opinions.

Would love to hit up the tracks, or at least autocross, once I'm more experienced, of course), and as far as mods are concerned.... No clue . I'm sure a few for weeks of scouring the forums will give me some good ideas though (money permitting). Oh and I would like to go to one of your local meets, but it might be hard since my summer classes are on a night schedule, but I will still definitely try

I zoom therefore I am.
welcome to the addiction
I'm in san jose as well, so if you ever need help with an install you have local guys who can help.
For the first install I would suggest the axial flow short shifter.
http://www.axialflow.com/products.htm
about half way down the page. search here and you'll see about 99.9 percent of the people who get it love it.
