So I get a jacket in the mail from my dad. It is a big jacket and probably 1 size too big. My son says, "Dad they got you a big jacket because you are wide.". My wife can not stop laughing and I'm doing everything I can to bite my tongue. But the boy has a point and I need to get my butt back in the gym.

Switched from Verizon Fios to Comcast cable today. My Fios speed 20mb/5mb and Comcast all day has been a steady 27mb/8mb. Sometimes bursts upto 30mb/9mb. The Comcast is supposed to be 25mb/3mb. I will keep running speed tests to see if it is consistent.
I have the phone/TV/Internet package with 3 HD TVs. Verizon was $155 w/o long distance. Comcast is $125 for everything, plus free long distance, free DVR with no monthly fee. Plus On Demand that I can stream from anywhere I have an internet connection.
But I lost the Speed Channel which I was told was included. Also lost Boomerrang which is a kids station my kids love. I can get the Speed Channel added for $6 per month but I'm sure if I speak with a manager they will throw it in. However getting Boomerrang is not an option because Comcast does not carry it in Oregon. This channel could be a deal breaker for my family so we will see if I keep it.
