Front Lincence Plate off ...illigal? help guys need to know before i get arrested...=
I live in NJ and when i get my RX8 [end of summer =)
i dont want to have the ugly NJ plates sitting infront of the air dam...can i take it off put it on the dashboard faving the hood...is this illigal?
lets say it is...when a popo stops me can i just say my car's engine over heats if i place the lincence plate infront of the air dam...will they be chill with that???

i've been stopped once in Illinois just because i didn't have front plates on...then he decided to find more things wrong like the fact that i didn't have my seat belts on and that i had something dangling from my review - he called it "obstruction of view"...anyways, most cops won't pull you over, but some will...most of them, if they do pull you over, will just let you off on a warning
Check out the on coming traffic and see how many people don't have front license plates, it quite interesting...
Even in states that require them..
