I rode in it...probably could have driven it, but I figured someone would buy it soon, and since I wasn't ready, I will just wait until the demo shows up. No sense putting miles on someone else's car for no reason.
I was showing a friend the rx-8s, when the sales manager shows up and cranks the blue one up. I was surprised he was moving it, so I asked him if it was sold. He said no, about 30 minutes ago the person reniged. So I asked for a ride, and he took me around front. Obviously, there was no performance driving going on, but I got a feel for passenger comfort, and how smooth and quiet it is.
I then proceeded to sit in it, remove the engine cover, adjust the seat, etc. (Got scolded by a salesguy for looking at the engine...I just smiled.)
So anyway, I just drove away and left my dream RX-8 there for someone else to buy. I was heart broken. No one else had looked at it, Browns would do MSRP, I could've had it.
Sorry to go on and on...I am nearly in tears.

Oh well, mucho motivationo to pay of the van as soon as possible. Here comes the bologna sandwiches!
PS...hope to see a bunch of RX-8s at the DC rev-it-up tomorrow.
