anyways.. i don't think it matters what the brandname is on the product.. if kia made a 1000 hp supercar.....i'd deff. consider it! lol it's about the substance and quality.. and toyota deff. has the racing heritage to earn it some respect.

toyota would sell it as a lexus here, they would have sold the supra as one too, but lexus lacked the brand substantiation.

toyota sold the landcruncher as a toyota then for the same reason they sold the supra as one...lexus has for a long time (before 2000 anyway) lacked market power as a brand name

Toyota works in conjunction with my college, and they specifically told us that the Supra was dead and will not be comming back (as of 2 weeks ago at least). So, I wouldn't doubt that this car will be sold as a Lexus since the Supra name is dead.
