Good! I think every manufacturer involved with F1 should have a supercar!

I hope that wing falls off though

At 190 mph, at least the wing would be functional.

That car is hot. I was going to wait for the Supra before getting the 8. I like Toyotas.

^There's no way that a wing that size will pop up like on porsches.

I don't think that the car will have a wing at all.

doesn't ford own mazda?? lol

anyways.. i don't think it matters what the brandname is on the product.. if kia made a 1000 hp supercar.....i'd deff. consider it! lol it's about the substance and quality.. and toyota deff. has the racing heritage to earn it some respect.

toyota would sell it as a lexus here, they would have sold the supra as one too, but lexus lacked the brand substantiation.

it seems to have alot of supra DNA in it

Don't be so sure, look at the Landcruiser... It didn't have the nameplate yet many people weren't shy about shelling out big money to get one, even after the same vehicle could be had as a Lexus.

toyota sold the landcruncher as a toyota then for the same reason they sold the supra as one...lexus has for a long time (before 2000 anyway) lacked market power as a brand name

Toyota works in conjunction with my college, and they specifically told us that the Supra was dead and will not be comming back (as of 2 weeks ago at least). So, I wouldn't doubt that this car will be sold as a Lexus since the Supra name is dead.

Its funny. In the entire 21 pages / 2 months that that article has been going, not a single person has gotten a pic of the new rwd Toyota sports car that, according to the TRD rep. on pg 1, has been testing in CA.

People pay around 6 figures for a Honda (NSX) so why not a Toyota?
