Registering A Import
I was just wondering how hard it would be to register a import from Japan in the USA, particular the state of Nevada? any help would be nice.
Also whats a good way to find out what an exotic import is worth?
Thanks,
G

Rules on importing cars:

A list of importers who can help you:

Worth is relative. A car is worth however much you are willing to pay for it.

I would like to get a ball park figure on what a Skyline GT-R would go for as far as milage. Cosmetic now that would be what a car is "worth" to me. But I think I got that part down. Thanks for the links.

Last I checked and this was a couple of years ago, Sun International was bringing them into the country and handling the appropriate conversions and they were going for around 60k, for one that was a year or two old, granted they were all low mileage and they were Skyline's, but that is Z06 territory.

Well, you can probably forget about importing a Skyline any time soon. Motorex owner jailed:

The US Department of Transportation has offically rescinded importation eligibility for both the R32 and R34 Skylines, only 96-98 R33 Skylines are still eligible to be imported.
