Hmm...

Its abt 5 to 6 hundred which, in most of our opinions - SUX. U can try Garage R, Cartronic etc etc....

We would rather save the monies and do up the ECU ( btw 1-2K ) which will entail gettin rid of speedcut too. My advice is be patient or u can go order some of the ECUs from Japan. Fujita , RE, R- Magic n many others already have them. The onli problem is you need someone that can fully explain / translate the mods done in them. Moreover, note the ECUs were done up in consideration of Japan's weather. Might not be optimal for us.

My wish list would be for one of us in the group to learn and master the dumb CANII format so dat we can all live happily ever after.....:P

Read somewhere that if you simply get rid of the limiter, the digital display still does not work i.e. you may be driving at 200+ but speedo shows 180. Could be dangerous. Find out more before simply getting rid of the limiter.

At least you know what speed you are doing and the braking distance. Could give you a shock when you are trying to break if you are much faster than you expected.

Personally I don't think doing >200 up north is dangerous cos the road is straight and few cars. Over there, I travel 100 also have to pay money...fed up...always push my car since then. What's the point of following rules when the police never?

wow.... patience for this grasshopper is wearing thin.
with this 180km/h crap can't even 'chieo' a wira on tracks!

nevertheless, thks for e advice bro neon, will guay guay and wait in the meantime.
in any case pls count me in for a group mod on ecu if it happened, mates.
maybe can get discount.= too.
by the way, neon thks for the infor on your tein. i tried to pm you.

as for the traffic fines you are right manwe!
dirty cops keep quoting the car doing 125 - 130 but car was doing 180.
maybe the figures he mentioned are the bribes and not the speed

I never care about speed. Always do above 200 there. Even if you do 50 they will still quote 130. If you insist that you are doing less than speed limit, then they will ask you to go back to take statement. You can save some money by doing that and waste 4-5 hours. IMO, settling on the spot is better.

The standard is 50 riggits. If they motion you to the side, just part with one. It will be enough.

Last time I dunno how much...so always gave more until my friends told me the standard. Haha...
