I am a meat popcicle
I love the '8 in yellow. When I "ordered" mine more than two years ago I had a choice of many colors, but yellow just brings out the lines in the car, and the car certainly doesn't get lost in a crowd of bland colored cars.

I've seen old people, especially old ladies, in Athens pulling out their arms to stop yellow cars... thinking they are taxis!! I guess in NY and other places the situation is the same lol

Thou i personally love blue i didnt want the light blue cos loads of people around my way has it in that colour.
Didnt want the dark blue cos now everyone with a new RX8 is buying that colour so its almost as common as the light blue
Green just looks sickly, like an overgrown cabbage IMO, no offence to anyone (fingers crossed) :p
Black hides the beautiful curves
Sliver just makes it look like a Merc
Grey makes it look so dull and lifeless.
Red...... dunno why but i always disliked red cars... could be because it was the colour of my 1st car, a nissan micra... it was absolute hell to drive, the experiance has now scared me for life.
So the only logical answer is pick yellow. It makes the car stand out, shows off the curves & not that many cars around my area are yellow, u know just to look different.
Plus I don't know if its true but i heard that yellow is a colour that mazda uses only during the 1st year of a particular models production. So there is always the exclusiveity value of owning a yellow mazda.

Grapes is a colloquialism for haemorrhoids right? They make me cranky too. All I'm saying is I have an ugly car (Fiat Multipla - love those bug eyes or what) so I though what the hell might as well be ugly and stand out. The 8 is a beautiful looking car so why not let the curves do the talking?

The yellow is beautiful color. Stands out from all the "regular" colors. If I didn't love blue so much, my 8 would be yellow. In fact, I'm looking to aquire a used yellow 8 in addition to my blue!

Geez Reg, black was for model T Fords and Morris 8s, not RX8s... :p
Impossible to keep looking clean.... by the time you polish your way round to the back the front looks dirty again....
And everybody thinks you're trying to look Joe Cool in a black car.
Silver Grey... no, I've got hair like that - don't need a car to match.
Red .... OK, but the paint's not quite my cup of tea, and red sports cars are... well it's been done an awful lot....
Titanium.... I liked it, but a just a wee bit too "bank manager" for me.
Green, blue etc.... Not bad, but hard to see on the roads in the winter where I live - overhanging trees, pools of shadow etc.
Yellow... Unmissable! Unmatchable! A colour of beauty and a joy forever. :D
EDIT:
Reg, please ignore my above comments about black if your RX8 is used as a hearse. Black would be appropriate. There's room in that boot for a few tiny caskets - so if you run Reg's Hampster and Budgie Funeral Services then I shall doff my cap respectfully as you pass.

How about it Grapes - you and BVD startle them to death with your brash yellowness and I'll clean up with the bagging service afterwards. Alternatively I could leave them to decompose for a couple of weeks and then attach them to your bonnet (hood) to add some slighly more tastful highlights to your colour scheme.
