Anyways, I took the engine cover off, and in my infinte wisdom of all tings mechanical (yeah right) I seriously couldnt find where the dipstick is. So I lugged out the ol' trusty owners manual...and am I to believe that the flimsy little yellow curly q sitting in the engine is the dip stick? I need confirmation before I start pulling things out of the engine!

Yeah. Hard to believe, isn't it? Make sure that you have a good light source 'cause the oil is really hard to see on the dip stick and getting the stick back in the hole is a PITA in anything but bright light.
